Lord of Life, this morning, I think about my plans, and I’m grateful for another day to live and serve. I’m also grateful for the unexpected turns and surprising encounters that may come my way today. I pray that I’ll be open to your presence in the surprises and that in every moment, planned and unexpected, I’ll respond to your presence—because I know you’ll be there. Amen.
