Lord Jesus, on this glorious morning,
When you rose from the dead,
May our hearts be filled with gratitude and awe
For the love You showed us on the cross.
May we be reminded that no matter how dark the night is
The morning will dawn with Your light.
May Your light shine in our world,
May it bring an end to war and strife,
May it bring unity where there is division
And forgiveness, where there is vengeance.
May we, as a people redeemed, live with hearts filled with the hope and joy
Showing to the world, the vibrant hope of Your resurrection.
